The perfect setting for your special day
Enjoy the stunning landscaped surroundings and peace and tranquillity of a traditional setting at the University of Nottingham.
Nestled away amongst 330 acres of landscaped parkland is a beautiful location for your wedding ceremony in the Grade 11 Trent Building built in 1928.
The traditional marbled interior leads through to the Great Hall, where a civil license enables you to tie the knot in front of up to 160 of your family and friends. Afterwards, relax and enjoy the serenity of the Senate Chamber for your wedding breakfast, with terraces leading down to the boating lake, perfect for a few snaps to capture memories of your day. In the evening, the Great Hall is transformed to create a party atmosphere where you and your guests can dance until the early hours.
Alternatively for those opting for a more intimate wedding breakfast, The Council Room which has space for up to 50 of your nearest and dearest, would be ideal.
