From Monday 30th January, for approximately two weeks, the first phase of site clearance works will take place along the proposed tramway route on University Boulevard between East Drive and Queens Road East roundabout.

Construction is due to start on a new 200-bed upmarket hotel at The University of Nottingham.
With planning permission already in place, the University's Council have now given approval for the £20m eco-friendly hotel, which will be built on University Park, adjacent to the East Midlands Conference Centre.
