Works along University Boulevard
From Monday 30th January, for approximately two weeks, the first phase of site clearance works will take place along the proposed tramway route on University Boulevard between East Drive and Queens Road East roundabout.
The works will take place during off-peak hours: 9:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Thursday each week, and 9:30am – 4:30pm on Sundays. On weekdays, during the hours stated above, there will be a lane closure on University Boulevard for traffic heading to Beeston.
On Sundays only, during the hours stated above, the permanent traffic lights at the junction of University Boulevard and East Drive will be replaced with temporary traffic lights. In addition, one lane of the city-bound side of University Boulevard will be closed, and there will be lane restrictions on East Drive on the approach to the junction.
