The Client Day and Networking Event took place at the East Midlands Conference Centre back in April. With around 120 attendees the event was a great success. The one day event enabled Golder’s clients and employees to discuss new trends and developments in the marketplace. Four conference sessions made use of the recently refurbished Theatre for the plenary sessions and the smaller meeting spaces in The Gallery hosted the parallel sessions. The venue’s Atrium was used for refreshment breaks and lunchtime dining.
Golder Associates project manager Marie Townshead says: “One factor in our decision to use the EMCC was that it allowed us to book the facilities before our final attendance numbers had been confirmed, which was vital to us. Altogether, the event was very slick and professionally orchestrated and given our experience this year, we would defiantly consider the EMCC again”.
