Cavendish Hall

Named after the Cavendish Family, or more specifically the Duke of Devonshire, the hall is built on four levels in contemporary style. En-suite bedrooms conveniently located to the EMCC.

The hall surrounds a lawn quadrangle with its own rose garden, and is reached via a bridge over a grass moat.

A short walk brings guests to the University boating lake with its surrounding leafy paths – all extremely picturesque and romantic!

Cavendish Hall is within easy reach of the East Midlands Conference Centre.

  • 274 en-suite study bedrooms
  • Accessible facilities
  • Lounge/conference room (120 capacity)
  • Formal dining for up to 240
  • Licensed bar
